 | ******** PRESS RELEASE ********* Date: 18th September 2008 Location: Fleet, Hampshire Teksys acquire assets of Technology Made Simple It is announced, that Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) and specialist Microsoft services company, Teksys Ltd, has acquired the assets of Technology Made Simple Ltd(known as Tech MS) for an undisclosed sum. Tech MS are a Microsoft Gold Partner, a Partner of VMWare and Citrix, and an HP Platinum Partner. Teksys provides Microsoft infrastructure consultancy, support, software licensing and SAM services to corporate, education and public sector organisations. It is one of Microsoft’s authorised LARs and has been instrumental in the creation of the international Software Asset Management standard ISO 19770-1 alongside adoption of effective SAM process and practices throughout the UK. Alan Watkins of Teksys commented, “Since our acquisition of Teksys in December 2007, we have identified a number of core competency areas for further investment. These are Licensing & SAM, Sharepoint, Virtualisation, and Unified Communications. This acquisition represents the most recent investment decision that we are making to expand and increase our offerings to our customers, and drive adoption of Microsoft technologies.
