Centennial Discovery is a purpose-built, market-leading, IT asset inventory and management solution.

Discovery utilises client agents to audit operating system environment devices installed on the network which both audit devices and communicate back to the Discovery server on a scheduled basis. The client agent approach enables Discovery to audit and collate data with a minimal effect on the network whilst also developing usage information and auditing mobile devices whilst not connected to the network.

The web control centre provides HTML based analysis tools, universal access and configurable security in addition to the inventory tracking capabilities available in the administrative console. Users from anywhere in the organisation can be provided with secure access to the web control centre in order to query data held in the Discovery repository. The administrator can configure access to the web control centre including the level of access, from complete anonymous access by any member of staff to control by department or other organisational unit.

Reports are provided graphically within the web console with data viewable through the interactive interface, arranged across five tabs in order to minimise clutter with the most regularly accessed reports available at log on in accordance with each user’s requirements.
