Examples of proactive services which may be used within the contract are:

Quarterly systems review typically 7.5 hours activity where a consultant visits the main customer site to review systems on site and to make recommendations regarding such areas as security, backup and resilience.

System health checks typically a 15 to 23 hour activity where an in depth assessment is made of a core systems health and ability to function normally over the next 6 to 12 months. These health checks, if carried out regularly, will provide a valuable insight for the customer into the likely growth and storage requirements of key internal systems.

A six monthly or annual strategic review - typically a 20 to 45 hour engagement which can cover technology based reviews (e.g. Exchange 2003 Topology and Performance, Mailbox Storage and System Policies, Front-end and Gateway Services) or encompassing more generic areas such as systems security.

Premier Service Days these are days where a consultant is made available at the customer's site and where the consultant's activities are defined and controlled by the customer.
